RISKS DISCLOSURE
The Shifu Lem service is a platform designed for members with a matrimonial interest to exchange personal information and communicate with each other.The gentlemen members participate the service directly through ShifuLem.com, whereas lady members join with the help of their respective affiliate marriage agencies. Shifu Lem also provides additional services, either directly or indirectly in the case of engaging third party affiliates to conduct tours, courses, etc to members.
With particular regard to the information found on each lady's profiles, they are provided to Shifu Lem through registered third party affiliates and are hence available on an basis.
In engaging our services, you are deemed to having read, understood and hence agreed to the below situations (which are not exhaustive) and accept the associated risks
Relationship between Shifu Lem and Affiliates
Shifu Lem, in providing a wide array of services to members do engage third party Affiliates including but not limited to: Translation companies, marriage agencies, tour agencies, professional consultants, trainers, Virtual Assistants etc. The relationship between Shifu Lem and such affiliates are wholly independent to each other as a matter of legal entity and in commercial operation. Affiliates is not acting as agent of or for Shifu Lem nor is associated or subsidiary or holding company of the operating company of Shifu Lem.
Ladies' Information
Information found on lady's profiles, including personal facts as well as self description, photos, contact information etc are submitted by to Shifu Lem. Shifu Lem does conduct random spot checks and verify discrepancies with the respective Affiliates. However due to the difficulty of investigating the information of each and every profile, Shifu Lem cannot guarantee the authenticity of every piece of information posted on profile. There are therefore always the inherent risks of those information being incomplete, inaccurate or untrue.
Written Correspondences
In the case of correspondence which was not drafted & submitted by lady member personally but (on most of the occasions) being translated based on the lady's instructions then submitted through translators, there is always the risks of discrepancies, incompleteness or mis-paraphrasing in the contents of the translated version. A verbatim translation is almost impossible.
Webcam Chats
Online webcam chat requests are handled manually by Shifu Lem staff. An appointment is set up with the translator, the lady and the man. Due to timezone differences, availability of the translator as well as the lady's acceptance and ndividual schedule, the requested appointment may not be fulfilled within the time frame given. However the gentleman is only billed when the appointment has been confirmed.
Fees Chargeable
Shifu Lem never charges lady members fees by whatsoever description, directly or indirectly. However there may be business arrangements between Shifu Lem and the Affiliates which requires fees to be paid to Shifu Lem for services rendered. There may also exist agreements between lady members and their associated Affiliate where a fee is payable to the Affiliate upon certain obligations being fulfilled whether through the Shifu Lem service or not. In the two above cases, Shifu Lem is not in any position, whether legal or otherwise to influence or investigate passing such fees to lady members by Affiliates.

The above situations and associated risks are NOT EXHAUSTIVE. Whilst Shifu Lem will continue to improve its level of service standards and take all necessary precautionary measures within our capability, there are certainly situations which are beyond our control. We take seriously member’s feedback in our ongoing efforts to mitigate such risks. BEFORE ENGAGING OUR SERVICES YOU MUST HAVE UNDERSTOOD THE ABOVE AND ACCEPTED SUCH RISKS.
